In modern society,the film as a carrier of mass culture has become an indispensable element in life.In the world film,Asian films have always been culturally in the "other" position.The western films,represented by Hollywood,are filled with imaginations about the image of the Oriental region,which has brought the image of the east to the bottom.Behind the western film presentation,it reflects the cultural tendencies of Oriental works.Many of the films,the image of the East demonized,or "other" of the west to cater to the tastes of the audience,or the Oriental mystery too,cause cultural misreading examples be too numerous to enumerate.At the end of the twentieth Century,Asian countries started the "new wave movement of films",and Asian films began to stage on the International Film Festival.However,sweeping the major movie festivals did not bring any advantages to local films,and the market share was still occupied by Hollywood blockbusters.In this context,Asian countries are eager to find a breakthrough to realize the presentation and interpretation of their own culture.Therefore,the Oscar Academy Awards,which has great influence and penetration in the world,has begun to enter the vision of Asian countries,in which the Oscar Best Foreign Language Film Award is the target of Asian countries.At present,only three countries in Asia,China,Japan and Iran,have won the Oscar Best Foreign Language Film Award.The Asian countries,with different regional characteristics,different cultural traditions,different images and cultural expressions in different subjects,can get Oscar's favor in different times.With the unique Oriental customs,the mysterious veil of "imagination" has been opened to the western countries.This paper tries to explore the self expression and presentation of the three national films by using Oscar's best foreign language film through the study of the image construction and cultural expression of the oriental images of the three countries in China,Japan and Iran.So as to form a comprehensive understanding of Asian film creation ideas and thoughts,to achieve cross-cultural communication,to create a good international image dissemination effect,and to provide a reference for the future development of the Asian film.The main contents of this study are as follows:First,a general overview of the world film in the context of globalization is made,and the stereotyped impression of the East under the western discourse system is clarified,thus the stern position of the Asian Film in the world film is seen.It is described that the Asian countries need to express and present the image of the East through the competition of Oscar's best foreign language film.Secondly,taking the images of Oscar's best foreign language films from three Asian countries in China,Japan and Iran as an example,the early images of the three countries are combed,and then the image construction and aesthetic characteristics of the oriental images in the Oscar foreign language film awards are analyzed.From the two dimensions of historical context and social context,this paper studies how the three national films can achieve effective communication in different contexts,and to analyze how Asian films can achieve their own cultural expression and presentation through Oscar's best foreign language film.Third,we use the method of text analysis and comparative analysis to analyze the cultural expression of the Oriental image of China,Japan and Iran.For Asian films,how to conduct self expression of oriental images should be attributed to the guidance of film creation and communication strategies.Finally,through the analysis,collation and induction of the first three chapters,it summarizes how the three Asian countries in China,Japan and Iran carry out image construction and cultural expression in different contexts,so as to provide reference for the Asian films to impact Oscar's best foreign language film and to obtain the expression and presentation of the national image.
