Since modern times,the necessity of religious existence has become a topic of debate in the Chinese ideological community.Master Yin Shun from the transformation of personal belief,through discussion of religious functions,and thenrecognizing that religion plays an essential role in modern society.Meanwhile,Yin shun pointed out that the great changes in China since modern times are rooted in the lack of religious spirit in society.In order to save the Chinese society,Yinshun integrates Buddhism and Chinese Confucianism,and thenput forward the "human Buddhist" ideology.This paper is centered on the religious view of Yin shun,and to the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism as a clue,by sorting out the understanding and judgment of the Confucian thought,to show the understanding and attitude of the Yin shun on the revival of traditional culture.The paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction shows the absorption of relevant research on the relationship between modern Confucianism and Buddhism,as well as the framework and research methods of this paper,the text consists of four chapters:The first chapter mainly elaborates the religious views of Yin shun,and in combination with the religious belief experience and his early life experience,the background of the formation of Yin shun's religious views was arranged,from the social and personal level,the paper points out the understanding of the religious social function.Chapter two,chapter three,from the discussion and sentencing of the Confucian thought by the master,those chapter expounds two main aspects of the thought of Confucianism and Buddhism of Yin shun.The second chapter focuses on the relationship between "Confucianism and religion",including whether Confucian have religious factors,Confucianism with Buddhism and Taoism the relationship between the two teaching and the social function of Confucianism,thus it reveals the cause of the criticism of Confucianism of Yin shun: the Confucian thought overemphasizes the rational factor and lacks the spirit of religious belief.The third chapter focuses on the interpretation of the Confucian and Buddhist learning objectives and methods.Yin shunbelieve the decline of Buddhism development in modern times,this phenomenon attributed toBuddhism not attach importance to the learning order.Therefore,in the "human Buddhism" thought,it attached great importance to the establishment of the study system.The author thinks that the establishment of this kind of study system is a reference to the way of thinking of Confucianism.The fourth chapter is mainly from the aspect of the relationship between the Confucianism and Buddhism,discusses and elaborates the significance and value of the idea of "human Buddhism",the idea of "human Buddhism" is the collision and blend of the spirit of Chinese traditional Confucianism and Buddhist thought in modern society,it further reveals the relationship between the thought of "human Buddhism" and the process of self-renewal of Chinese culture.At the same time,the fourth chapter also further points out the controversy of the Yin shun's religion.The reflection and criticism of the traditional Mahayana Buddhism by Yin shun,whether it was influenced by modern science and technology rationality;In the spirit of rational thinking whether appropriate religious ways.These problems are also the reflection and questioning of the existing phenomena in the Buddhist circle.The conclusion is to point out that the thought of "human Buddhism" is the transformation of traditional culture dominated by Buddhist thought in modern society.On the one hand,the thought of "human Buddhism" embodies the characteristics of Confucianism in Chinese culture.On the other hand,the thought of "human Buddhism" is a necessary process of self-renewal of Buddhism,in turn,the real value of "human Buddhism" is affirmed.
