The Hui Nationality Policy And Its Effect In The Early Qing Dynasty

The polity of Hui nationality in the early Qing Dynasty is a big problem related to the direction of social development,it is also the reflection of the Qing Dynasty rulers' political measures and national policies.The late Ming and early Qing Dynasty Chinese entered a tide of peasant uprising,the Qing Dynasty find for the tripod in the central plain-attempt to usurp the throne,the social environment is not stable as one falls,another rises,the Qing government needs to unite the people of all ethnic groups to consolidate the rule of their regime,the Hui nationality as a dominant nation in terms of population and residential geographical aspects,the development of this period is closely related to the policy of the Qing Dynasty.such as Kangxi period“the same”,Yongzheng period “treat the people as the Hui”,Qianlong period“the Hui governance by Hui,encirclement and comfort”policy,attitude Hui people to response to the policy and the rule of the Qing Dynasty.Based on the historical data,this paper tries to sort out the cognition,attitude and policy of the supreme ruler of the Qing Dynasty to the Hui nationality.this paper in the Shunzhi period is a time range to Qianlong,the study on the policy and effect of the Qing Dynasty rulers to the Hui nationality,study on the cause of the problem,the effect of policy changes on Hui.
