A Study On The Plate Type Structure Of Documentary

As an extremely common and important narrative structure of documentary,the plate type structure is widely used in the creation of different types of documentaries.Especially in recent years,high quality documentary films with plate type structure as the main narrative structure is unceasing and has been recognized and enjoyed by more and more audiences.By this article’s analysis of the classic plate type structure documentary,and combines the practical experience to shoot the documentary film "SHU XIANG XI LU" which base on the plate type structure theory,to study and analyze the characteristic,application scope and limitation of the plate type structure documentary.At the same time,some creation strategies of the plate type structure are derived in view of these characteristics and limitations,in order to make a favorable summary of the plate type structure from the viewpoint of practical application.The article mainly through the method of case study to deeply analyze and researc h the documentaries’ plate type structure.The first chapter mainly analyzes the research status of the plate type structure.By summarizing the current research results of various scholars on the documentary and plate type structure in documentary and combining with the case,to give conceptual definition of documentary,documentary narrative structure and documentary plate type structure.Meanwhile through the combing of research background and research status,This paper puts forward the problem of the imbalance between theoretical research and practice of slab structure.to get the main research content of this thesis.The second chapter summarizes the characteristics of plate type struc ture through plenty of cases’ study and analysis.The third chapter analyzes the application scope of plate type structure through case study.The forth chapter summarizes the specific creation strategies of the plate type structure bas ed on my own creatio n practice and related cases.Through the above content,summarizes the characteristics,application scope and creation points of the plate type structure,and provides a useful reference for the creation of the documentary plate type structure.
