| The Song Dynasty is a period of which chastity concept has not yet been strengthening,and the government did not have banned law of widows’ remarriage.But even in such a social background,there are still some women,they still won’t remarry,but choose widowhood.The research which is in the field of Song woman’s marriage life is fruitful.While in this field,most of the scholars will focus on the problem of chastity and remarriage especially.Traditionally,scholars research the problem of Song woman’s remarriage more,for this will be considered as a sign of social progress.As for the chastity,few of them do this.Even they do,they usually take the Song Dynasty Neo-Confucianism chastity as the exploration emphasis.They hasn’t been able to out of focus of woman’s history category for men.What’s more,it will ignore the true historical meaning of women themselves.Because of this,the article will discuss the problem still belongs to the theme of chastity,but different from traditional research,it will reference the research methods of the Gender Theory and the Social Stratification Theory.The author will start from the following three points.First,analyze the elements which ensure the material.Second,analyze the widow’s spirit world.Third,analyze the widow’s life power.By talking about the three points above,the author wants to show the woman’s life style through a new angle. |
