Research On The Functions Of Our Goverment In Financial Supervision In China

Along with the continuous deeping of the reform of the financial system, local financial institutions develop rap idly and f inancial mixed operation entered th e historical arena gradually. Since the financial market has changed by leaps and bound, the current financial regulation system can't catch up with financial innovation, som e disadvantages have gradually revealed and financial superv ision can't function efficiently. However, the failure o f financial supervision could directly af fect the security and stability of the country's financial industries and national economy. It is imperative to build up a new pattern of lo cal financial supervision under a unified regulatory system, establish dominant role to supervis e the finance of local government and perfect the financial regulatory functions of local government.Base on the conditions of our country, this paper analyses the financial regulatory functions of local government and put forward some innovative suggestions of reform of financial regulatory functi ons for local governm ent.
