Our country is a large multi-ethnic country. Many ethnic minorities mainly live in the western frontier provinces with vast territory, abundant resources, complex relationship between ethnic and religious, outstanding geopolitical strategic value, lagging development. The political stability of frontier ethnic regions is relating to the overall situation of China's political stability. A series of domestic and international factors superposition produced the new situation and new problems, are constituting deep new challenges to the stability and peace of frontier ethnic regions. The Country as the core subject in maintaining the political stability of frontier ethnic regions, must be based on its ability in the final analysis, studing the political stability of frontier ethnic regions deeply from the perspective of state capacity, has important theoretical and realistic significance.This article is divided into two parts including the introduction and the body(four chapters).The introduction part: Overall grasp of China's political stability in frontier ethnic regions based on the perspective of state capacity, determine the theoretical basis, and expounds research ideas, methods and innovation points briefly on the basis of combing the relevant research literature.The first chapter: The basic connotation of political stability of frontier ethnic regions in the vision of state capacity. First of all, defining the basic concept of political stability, political stability in frontier ethnic regions and state capacity, through the analysis of the new problems and new challenges in front of the political stability in frontier ethnic regions, revealing the scientific connotation of political stability in frontier ethnic regions on the horizon of state capacity.The second chapter: The constitution of state capacity to defending the political stability of frontier ethnic regions. Including(1) the ability of completing the political system in frontier ethnic regions;(2) the ability of preventing and controling the violent terrorist incidents;(3) the ability of accelerating the development of economic and social in frontier ethnic regions;(4) the ability of construction of national identity.The third chapter: The main factors affecting political stability of frontier ethnic regions. Including(1) the cadres status in frontier ethnic regions;(2) the national political culture;(3) the development level of economic and social;(4) the international environment.The fourth chapter: The thinking of the path of country to defending the political stability in frontier ethnic regions. Including(1) strengthening cadres construction in the main line of Party construction in frontier ethnic regions, to provide strong organization guarantee for defending frontier ethnic regional political stability;(2) striking “The Three Forces” severely, to guarantee the frontier ethnic regions are stable and ordered;(3) developing productivity of frontier ethnic regions rapidly, narrowing the gap of economic and social development continuously;(4) continuously advancing the construction of political culture in the orientation of national identity, to consolidate psychological basis of frontier ethnic regional political stability.
