This study takes four cities of Shandong province as examples and then collects related materials with the method of questionnaire survey. After that, the collected data are processed through SPSS16.0. The overall situation of urban senior citizen's endowment service demand is systematically analyzed. Besides, the influence of personal characteristics on urban senior citizen's endowment service demand will also be interpreted through related analysis.The study indicates that for urban senior citizens, the demand degree to daily care service is the highest. And those demands of medical care, spiritual consolation, safety rescue and social participation all account for about twenty percentage of headcount. Urban senior citizens generally expect to receive endowment service at home; they hope that their children can provide care when they can receive home-based endowment service. Ninety percentage of senior citizens prefer public endowment institutions; when they choose endowment institutions, their most concern is the degree of transportation convenience and quality of service while their attention on whether the endowment institution is located in downtown is not high.Urban senior citizen's monthly income level has positive correlation with the demands of health care rehabilitation, mental health service, cultural entertainment, first aid service, accompany service and social participation. However, it has negative correlation with day care and housekeeping demand; urban senior citizens' physical condition has negative correlation with the demands of day care, door-to door service, home nursing, accompany to chat service. The number of urban senior citizen's children has positive correlation with the demand of day care while it has negative correlation with the demands of door-to door service, home nursing, accompany to chat service, and mental health service. The age of urban senior citizens has positive correlation with the demands of home sick-bed and first aid service. Then there is positive correlation between the dwelling condition of urban senior citizen and the demands of housekeeping, health care rehabilitation, first aid service and accompany service. Finally the gender characteristic of urban senior citizen has no correlation with the demand of endowment service.Urban senior citizen's monthly income level has positive correlation with the demands of provided endowment site, quality of service, attitude of service, and environmental landscaping. While it has negative correlation with the demands of public endowment institution, transportation convenience, and price of service. There is negative correlation between the physical condition of urban senior citizens and the demands of provided endowment site, facilities, attitude of service and transportation convenience. The number of urban senior citizens' children has negative correlation with the demands of provided endowment site, attitude of service, transportation convenience and price of service. In addition, there is positive correlation between the age of senior citizen and the demand of service quality. There is also positive correlation between the dwelling condition of urban senior citizen and the demand of provided endowment site. At last, the gender characteristic of urban senior citizens has no correlation with the demand of endowment service.On this basis, according to the inner level analysis of overall condition about urban senior citizen's endowment service, this paper suggests to put forward a thorough and multi-leveled endowment service system in order to satisfy the various demands of senior citizen from different levels and different characteristics' group. And the senior citizen's quality of life is further improved in this way.
