Techno-economic Analysis Of The Program And A Study On The Farmers' Will Of Relocating

With the development of urbanization and the needs of the ecological protection and poverty alleviation,as well as in order to attract people in the mountain area to urban region,promote labor force there shift to second and third industry and accelerate modernization of urban construction,Yiwu municipal party committee and government decided to list the remote,underpopulated mountainous area with less natural carrying capacity as exurbs of the city,embarking the project of striving for a relatively comfortable life in different regions.In this paper,the will and behavior of relocated farmers involved in nine natural villages will be discussed,which based on the project of out of poverty down the mountain for a comfortable life in remote area.It is a very important reference for the government policies to study the factors influence the will of relocated farmers.Based on summarizing the latest research results of farmers' relocation both at home and abroad and combining the specific conditions in Chian country,Yiwu city,this thesis put forward an influence factor model that had 27 variables and 5 dimensions including the personal characters,domestic characters,outside cognition,expected cognition and policy characters.The study assessed 805 peasant households including 9 administrative villages(Gusi village,Qingkeng village,cixi village,damenli village,yaxi village,jingtan village,yangpen village,xiaofeng village,guanyu village)and analyzed the 302 valid questionnaires.Empirical analyses indicate that several factors have significant influences on the relocation will for mountainous farmers,which involving the percentage of agriculture income,the right to homestead,the happiness cognition of present life,the cognition of comparing with others life,the will of selling out farmland and purchasing house in the city,the concept of land is their root,the compensation of relocation and the relative solicitations.The conclusions of this study provide policy guidance for the governments' relocation work.
