The Mechanism And Effect Of Preferential Policy Of Ethnic Minority Influencing Political Identification

In today's world multi-ethnic countries generally develop and implement preferential policies for ethnic minorities,The Chinese government has also formulated a series of preferential policies for ethnic minorities,the purpose is to between the ethnic groups and national unity policy objectives.This paper argues that only when conduct empirical research of the political identity of the target groups who enjoy the preferential policies,can we reasonably analyze and evaluate the real effect of the preferential policies of ethnic minority.This paper attempts to proceed from the political identity theory,based on the empirical investigation of Uyghur college students in Shanghai,to probe into the mechanism and policy effect of the preferential policies of ethnic minorities on the political identity of target groups.This paper attempts to answer the research question is:What kind of political identity does ethnic minority preferential policy produce to the target group(Uyghur Students college students in Shanghai),What is its internal mechanism?And what kind of policy effects are reflected in the results of such political affiliation?This article took the in-depth interviews and survey methods,the empirical study on the Uyghur Students college students in Shanghai shows that:First of all, the implementation of the preferential policies of ethnic minorities really shaped the political identity of the Uyghur students, and strengthened their own national consciousness and national identity in the three aspects of policy goal orientation, institutional environment of policy implementation and social network.Second of all, because of the preferential policies of ethnic minorities to bring them great policy benefits,so they very much agree with the national policy,and very much agree with the diversity of Chinese culture on the political and cultural level,which presents as an "inclusive" national identity;However, we should also see that the policy effect of this "inclusive" national identity is confronted with new challenges,That is the current government to take "politicization" approach in dealing with national work easily undermine the positive effects of national identity and national preferential policies.Finally, this article points out that, this study reveals the mechanism and effect of the preferential policies of ethnic minorities from the relationship between policy implementation system and personal interaction,and put forward the non-problem-oriented policy recommendations to the current minority policies.
