The life imprisonment system of our country is established by the "criminal law amendment(nine)" in the specific crime of corruption and bribery.It is only applicable to serious crimes of corruption and bribery.It is determined by the judge according to the circumstances of the crime.After the death sentence is suspended for two years and is commuted to life imprisonment according to law.He shall be deprived of his lifelong freedom and shall not be commuted or parole at the same time.The system of life imprisonment in China is between the execution of death penalty and the execution of the death penalty for two years.It depends on the execution of life imprisonment.It is a special kind of penalty and punishment measures which is only applicable to the crime of corruption and bribery.It is not an independent,new,and the death penalty and other parallel punishment.The system of life imprisonment is to implement the criminal policy with caution in death penalty and reduce its frequency It is to ensure that the offender's sentence.Whether or not it reaches the legislative purpose,it is a positive exploration.Due to its own reasons,the life imprisonment system in our country is controversial in its legal position,value and judicial application.In judicial practice,the system should be restricted.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is an overview of life imprisonment system.The second part is the legal position of life imprisonment system in our country.The third part mainly discusses the meaning of life imprisonment system in our country.The fourth part is the judicial application and the preliminary improvement of the system of life imprisonment.The fifth part is about the way to limit the application of life imprisonment in judicial practice.
