Research On The Cultivation Of Socialist Core Values Of Post-95 College Students

The sixth Plenary Session of the 16 th CPC Central Committee puts forward the core socialist values and the 18 th CPC National Congress proposes “three advocates” which involves we should "promote prosperity,democracy,civility,and harmony;uphold freedom,equality,justice and the rule of law;advocate patriotism,dedication,integrity and friendship.The core socialist values are the major achievement of the Party’s theoretical innovation.Whether the values are to keep pace with the times or are to be understood by the people greatly influences on the country to develop a well cohesive force.Cultivating and practicing the core socialist values is a decisive policy to construct a socialist country with Chinese characteristics and realizing the Chinese Dream of the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation,which has a realistic and farreaching historical significance.Without a doubt,Cultivating and practicing the core socialist values has become a political focus of our party and our nation in this new stage.University students born after 1995,as a young generation,are both energetic and imaginative with stronger sense of recognition and identification politically.They have distinctive goals for their future career,also with reasonable ideas of consumption.Compare with the former generation,their values are multivariate and complicated and tend to be utilitarian.They focus on enjoyment consumption because of serious utilitarianism.So,only when university students have a dream and responsibility,will our country have a bright future and our nation have good prospects.And observing core socialist values will be even more dynamic and energetic.University students as successors and major force of core socialist values,their attitudes and opinions have a great impact on our nation’s future hopes and prospects.Therefore,the author mainly,based on an analysis and interpretation of the core socialist values,and the features of the post-95 students,makes a thorough questionnaire convey and research on the information of university students’ current recognition for the core socialist values.The thesis specifically proposes a series of methods and countermeasures to the issues existed and make further analysis and study in order to instruct university students to cultivate and practice the core socialist values.University students should be encouraged to shoulder historical responsibility and will be expected to write a splendid page on the way to realizing the Chinese Dream of the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation.
