After the promulgation of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China in 1979,legal norms about Repetitious Theft have been changing gradually,and problems refer to Repetitious Theft have been appearing constantly.Based on the justice practice and research of lots of difficulty cases,a systematic discussion to the problem that how to identify Repetitious Theft according to the theories contained in legal norms is made in this article.A deeply interpretation of the difficult problems that refer to Repetitious Theft with a combination of theory and practice is also made in this article.This article is divided into four chapters.In first chapter,we investigated the legislation history of Repetitious Theft in China,and developed that changes of legal norms of Repetitious Theft got four steps.Meanwhile,a comparison between countries of civil law about their legal norms of Repetitious Theft is included in this chapter.In second chapter,we elaborate the basis of punishment of Repetitious Theft and key factor of judgment to Repetitious Theft.In third chapter,we discuss the distinction among continuing offenceconsecutive offence and collective offence etc.In the last chapter,we present an opinion about the definition of Repetitious Theft and discuss some key concepts are associated.
