No matter how you expand the view to the world, or stand from China's domestic financial area; no matter how to trace the history, or look around the present, the non-performing bank assets have become the urgent issue which cannot be overlooked. Since the fiancial crisis has happened from 1980's, the banking industry performed poorly till now, which has a close relationship with huge non-performing assets. What's more, facing the gradually serious problem of non-performing assets in our banking industrial system, the banking industry and the government have done lots of work and carried out relevant measures, but the effects are not very remarkable, especially the ratio of non-performing essets in our five major banks and other commercial banks have shown an upward tendency.The non-performing assets have become an important issue in financial area, which affects the world financial order. It's necessary to analyze and explore the ways of solving the problems of non-performing assets at once. However, this paper is not focusing on analyzing the problems of non-performing assets in the ecnomic and financial area, but combining with the writer's theoretical study and practical experience based on the disposition of non-performing assets. Moreover, the paper will explore the persuasion theory applying for solving and dealing with the practical problems which set the intervention of law firms as the core idea and the lawyers as the center of solving the non-performing assets.This paper mainly discusses the application and techniques of persuasion theory in lawyers solving the non-performing assets. The content divides into three parts:The first part mainly introduces the problem of non-performing bank assets in detail, including the definition, the classification, the formation, the bad effects and the ways of solving the non-performing assets and so on.The second part mainly elaborates the related theories of persuasion, focusing on the Aristotle's persuasion theory and three famous persuasion ways——Pathos, Logos and ethos; besides, it will describe the persuasion principle and the audience theory in detail.The third part mainly describes the combination of persuasion theory and the collection practice of non-performing bank assets, which includes the brief introduction of related contents and procedures of law firms dealing with the collection practice of non-performing theory. It contains the prebusiness stage, the persuasion stage during the business and the conclusion and reporting stage after the business. According to the different objects and different stages, it will apply different persuasion methods. At last, the paper will analyze the relevant factors of affecting the persuasion results and purpose, including the interfere of persuasion language, persuasion attitude and the psychology of persuasion.
