In the first decade of the 21st century,Al-Qaeda successfully enveloped the horrors of terrorism over the international community through the 9/11 incident,and has dominated the global terrorist organization for a long time.In the second decade of the 21st century,the rise of the Islamic State(IS)has subverted the international community's traditional perception of terrorism and the war on terrorist organization.The occupation of land and development branches in the Middle East as well launching terrorist attacks in Europe and the United States.Impacting the security of the international community and the order of the Middle East.These two extremist organizations have deep historical origins.IS's predecessor,the Al-Qaeda organization of Iraq is the official branch of the Al-Qaeda organization;these two extremist groups are ideologically close relatives,for example both praise "Jihad" Salafism,affected by Kurtianism,advocated "violent jihadism",and maintain the reconstruction of"Khalifa";In addition,the two extremist organizations are used suicide attacks,compound attacks,assassinations and kidnapping hostages way to act.The historical origins and similarities make some people think the two organizations are same.US President Barack Obama has long believed that IS is only a branch office of Al-Qaeda,but the development of the current situation proves that this is not the case.Since February 2014,Al-Qaeda and IS broke up,the relationship between the two organizations is filled with mistrust and hostility,the struggle over the leadership of the global jihad continues to occur.In addition,the ideology,the ultimate goal and the way of doing things also showed more and more different.At present,the academic research on the Al-Qaeda has been quite mature,IS research is also in the ascendant,but the Al-Qaeda and IS comparative study is slightly less.In view of this,the article try to use some materials and documents to do a comparative study of the two organizations.
