The Research On The Influence Factors Of The Promotion Of Doctoral Official Of The Cities At Prefecture-level Or Above

In recent years,the Chinese and foreign scholars have paid attention to that the promotion of officials is connected with local economic performance and environmental performance.However,the influence on the characteristics of officials in the promotion is studied rarely in this huge group of prefecture-level city.As an important participant of Chinese politics and the main controller,it is important to understand what kind of people is suitable for Chinese regional division.For nearly 40 years of reform and opening up,accompany with the update and change of the public attitudes,Chinese Communist Party has faced with severer challenges in holding the power.It is a problem which deserves further exploration that what kind of ability should doctoral officials have for achieving the main regime in party policy system of prefecture-level city.By related analysis,this article is aimed at exploring the influence factor on the post promotion of doctoral official of prefecture-level city and municipal party secretary in our country.In this topic research,the author takes the mayors of 284 national prefecture-level cities and municipal party secretaries from 1996 to 2015 as one of the main goals,and analyzes the ruling situation of 572 officials with doctorate.In combination with SPSS software,the author further summarizes the characteristics of these leadership officials reflected in terms of career growth,which can provide the actual reference on construction and development of our Party later.This article mainly analyzes the characteristics of the leaders in prefecture-level city with doctorate and the influence factors of promotion,which is divided into five parts.In the first part,the author discusses the topic by combining the theory with the practice.Firstly,the author studies the value from theoretical perspective.Secondly,the author offers a suggestion for related reference in combination with related expression of opinion.The second part is the introduction on theoretical basis.In the third part,the author explains the personal qualification,characteristics and regional distribution of target groups in detail.The fourth part is the data sources and processing,research purpose,research hypothesis and selection of variables,and using SPSS analysis software and Logistic regression analysis method to explore the influence factors on the promotion of doctoral officials,and check it with practice.The fifth part is the research conclusion and summary of this article.By descriptive statistics and regression analysis,this article is concluded that: 1.From the perspective of education background,doctoral officials whose first degree is from key colleges have promoted significantly.2.From the point of personal factors,the age and gender have not significantly associated with promotion while the nationality has significant correlation.3.From the point of location factors,the geographical position and city level of doctoral officials have significant correlation on promotion.In particular,the leader with doctorate has higher possibility for promotion in the western region than non-western region;the government officials with doctorate have more brightly political career especially the officials from third-tier city.
