In the 1970 s and 1980 s,the international situation was changing fast,and the struggle of democratization in Latin America was tortuous development.Peru was seriously affected by the economic crisis and the guerrillas were revived again.Victor Ballard Campos led some left wings split out from the Social Revolutionary Party and began to struggle for replace the government through guerrilla.In 1983,after studying the revolutionary experience in Cuba,Campos returned to the Cusco mountain area and formally set up the "Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement(MRTA)".Since then,the MRTA has been active in the Cusco,Lima,and the Vyaga Mountains,expanding the number of members,strengthening the organization and becoming the second largest guerrilla organization.This paper consists of four parts: introduction,text,conclusion and reference.The introduction part mainly introduces the origin and the purpose of the topic selection.Summarizing the main research writings.The text is divided into three parts:The first part is the origin of the origins of the MRTA.The second part analyzes the activities and thoughts of the "Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement".Since 1983,the armed struggle of the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement can be divided into three stages: in the first phase of the struggle(1983-1987),the "Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement" Fully absorb the theory of Guevarism.They tried to use the initial victory to obtain the support of people.On the one hand,they attacked in Lima to expand the impact of the organization,on the other hand,they base citadel in the mountains of Vajaga and Cusco.The Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement compete for the drug chain to earn money,and they made a victory in their preliminary.In the second period of the struggle(1988-1993),the "Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement" began to combated with the government directly.They assassinated government officials and bombed in the government or around.Its influence is further enhanced.But in 1990 s,President Fujimori came to power.He increased the fight against the guerrillas,so that the leaders have twice been arrested.And then the drug business in the mountains of Vyaga was almost hit out."Tupac Amaru revolutionary movement" began to lose heart.In the last part of the struggle(1994-1997),under the government and the army's attack,the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement had to go back to the Cusco Mountains and they Launched the hostage crisis in end of 1996.After four months,the hostage crisis solved by force,which also marked the "Tupac Amaru revolutionary movement" to failure.The third part analyzes the failure of the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement.The conclusion part is given a correct evaluation by reviewing the whole history of the "Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement".
