The Study Of The Idea Of The American International Governance (1776-1945)

Since modern times,the great powers have been playing an important role to guide the development of the world.It includes politics,economy,science and technology,international governance.In the creation of the international system,the idea of great powers cannot be underestimated in promoting the emergence and development of the international system.Since the independence in 1776,the United States developed into a world power with about one hundred years and became a global superpower.The process of the United States to gain the world leadership is not plain sailing.It was able to surpass Britain and became hegemonicpower,its economic and military strength was strengthened.During the United States became a world power,it inherited and innovated the idea that influenced the world,such as freedom,equality,the rules of law,constitutional government,cooperation,system management,the peaceful settlement of international disputes and so on.The idea of the American international governance influences and controls the voice and the international system.It is the basis of hegemony.In this process,the United States considers national interests as the starting point and often takes double standards in practice.All in all,it can be concluded that the strong of the United States includes not only economic and military power,but also the idea of the American international governance.The idea includes ideological belief,the spirit of yearning,rational knowledge and code of conduct and it is theoretical support to guide people to participate in the practice.So this paper is aim to study the idea of international governance as the key point to analyze the evolution of the idea in the rise of America and practice guidance,so as to provide reference for China.This paper is divided into four parts,the first part reviews the international governance idea formed by the source of theoretical basis and thoughts;The second part combs the origin,evolution and establishment of the American idea of international governance.The third part analyzes the intension and basic characteristics of American idea of international governance.The last part lists the specific national practice under the influence of the idea of the American international governance.
