The Practice Of Grid Management In Urban Communities

With the rapid economic and social development and the speeding-up urbanization,the urban management is becoming more and more important.However,it is also accompanied by an unprecedented challenge.For a better management of the dynamic urban environment and people,a community grid-management mode has been introduced and promoted in many cities.This new management mode has got some positive results in real practice.As one of the innovative social management achievements,urban community grid-management has become a hot term in China,and it has a great chance to lead the future social management.The basis and the key points of current social management and safe construction lie in the grassroots.To promote grid-management mode has become one important measure to improve the social management and innovative social management system.It is also an important way to maintaining close ties to mass people.As an innovative social management mode,grid-management has become popular in recent years and several typical management modes have emerged out.The paper takes some cities as typical grid-management modes to find out the commonplaces among them.Based on the analysis,the paper then further analyses the city community grid-management mode in Y district of C city.By doing tons of researches,the paper sorts out the main measures,evaluates the effects and figures out its problems in the real practice,which is unscientific grid division,low quality of gird members,generalization of grids,low public support,poor construction of information platform,over-interference from government,over-loaded burden on the grassroots level and so on.In order to solve those problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions to perfect the grid-management in Y district: improving the recognition of grid-management,perfecting the relevant system construction of grid-management,raising the quality of grid members,giving more financial supports,encouraging common people to join in and supplementing with matching incentive and supervision policies.
