The Research Of Integrity In Socialist Core Values Field

The 18 th National Congress puts forward “Three Advocacies” for the content of Core Socialist Vales.The integrity is one of the main advocacies for Core Socialist Vales,and integrity is people's behavioral norms.This shows that the integrity is a key point for the development of Chinese society.Advocating integrity can solve the problem of lacking honesty in economic social development in China,and at the same time,it is also the basic requirements of promoting the construction of civic virtues.Integrity is the positive energy in achieving the Chinese dream of Chinese nation,constructing the well-off society,deepening all-round reform,promoting law-based governance and be strict in party discipline.All of these have great practical significance and far-reaching historic significance.There are five chapters in this paper.Chapter one introduces the background and significance,and analyzes overseas and domestic research status,then generalizes the innovated points of research methods.Chapter two illuminates basic concepts and relevant theories for this paper,which is about the basic requirements of values and Core Socialist Values,the specific requirements of Core Socialist Values on the individual level,connotation of integrity,Chinese traditional integrity ideology,and western integrity ideology.In the meantime,this chapter elaborates the relationship between Core Socialist Values and integrity,and emphasis the importance of integrity in Core Socialist Values.Chapter three analyzes the present situation of integrity in contemporary society.Achievements of Core Socialist Values in China are gained,such as continuous improvement system,gradual unfolded theory research,thorough practice research.However,social transformation period leads to displacement of values,the imperfection of modern credit system,the impact of western values.All these elements cause the lack of integrity,which is embodied in illnesses individual relationship,deep social contradictions,low government credibility.Chapter four finds out the countermeasures of building and practicing Core Socialist Values.Based on the research of former three chapters,firstly,this chapter enhances integrity construction on individual level,and it includes improving citizen`s consciousness of integrity,strengthening citizen`s self-discipline,and improving and perfecting citizen`s integrity education.Secondly,this chapter strengthens the construction of social integrity;at last,it strengthens the public opinion guidance about integrity of the mass media.Chapter five is the conclusion of this paper.
