The Yi nationality is a minority with splendid culture. In the process of slow development, the Yi nationality of Liangshan gradually built up the standard system with the national characteristics.This paper is divided into five chapters,the Chapterl describes the Geographical environment and social conditions of Liangshan, to understand the conditions for the survival of Liangshan Yi nationality's civil dispute settlement mechanism. The Chapter2 is an overview of the civil dispute resolution mechanism of Yi nationality in Liangshan prefecture. Summarize its concept, method, process and characteristics of the civil dispute resolution mechanism. The Chapter3 describes the status quo of Liangshan Yi nationality's civil dispute resolution mechanism. Through on-the-spot investigation,discusses the conflict between the Liangshan Yi nationality's civil dispute resolution mechanism and rule of law and "special jury system". In the Chapter4,the author makes an evaluation of the civil dispute resolution mechanism of Yi nationality in Liangshan, in order to clarify the reasons for the continuation of Liangshan Yi nationality's civil dispute settlement mechanism and some defects which should be amended. The Chapter5 is the study of the path of rule of law of Liangshan Yi nationality's civil resolution mechanism, analysis of the results and problems of Liangshan Yi nationality's civil dispute resolution mechanism,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions.This paper adopts the method of literature, case analysis and empirical analysis, overall,starting from the state of Liangshan Yi nationality society itself, combined with a typical case study and field survey data, the related problem description and analysis of Liangshan Yi nationality's civil resolution mechanism,the purpose of this paper is that we should pay more attention to the state of Liangshan Yi nationality's civil resolution mechanism,promote the national law and customary law legal literacy can compensate for each other and enhance the special jury law cultivation.
