Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Radiation Safety Management In Ningxia A Bureau

With the rapid development of science and technology and the continuous development of social economy,nuclear technology in various fields has been widely used,including agriculture,industry,medicine,environmental protection,public safety and so on.Nowadays technologies have been well-developed,the use of radioactive sources and radiation equipment in the country is increasing,not only bringing convenience for our life and work,but also giving great economic benefits for the society.According to the country's new ideas about the sustainable development,the development of nuclear technology is necessary for optimizing energy structure,easing the pressure on the environment,and even for the development of human energy science and technology.However,the nuclear technology is a double-edged sword.Other than the convenience and wealth brought by the increasing applications of nuclear technology,some management-related problems such as radioactive contamination and health-harming risks have also been presented,probably leading to catastrophic consequences.At the same time,with the public awareness of radiation knowledge,the increasing number of telecommunications base stations,mass complaints and petition events about radiation increase every year,and radiation safety has become the focus of people's concern in today's society.Therefore,radiation safety should not be underestimated,and the management of radiation safety needs to be strengthened.For effectively promoting local radiation safety regulation and developing the institutional capability,monitoring and supervision on radiation environment should be constantly strengthened and optimized.In addition,management should be innovated,including the concept and methods;educating to general public should been promoted as well.Some bureau in Ningxia is the only radiation environmental supervision and management institution,which is responsible for the radization safety supervision task in Ningxia,a 66.4 thousand square meters region.From the strategic level of enhancing target management and streamlining administration,and from the perspective of radiation safety management personnel in the Ningxia bureau,this paper use literature research,institutional experience,questionnaires and other methods to in-depth analyzes the problems existed in the bureau and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for strengthen the radiation safety management in Ningxia through analyzing the existing problems in daily supervision of this bureau and the questionnaire results,together with the radiation safety management status.At the same time,this study will help to eliminate public doubts and solve the radiation risk problems that people are concerned about.It has great theoretical and practical significance to strengthen the capacity building of radiation safety management in Ningxia.
