Study On The Nanking's Fires And Technologies Of Extinguishing And Protection During The Golden Decade In The Period Of Republic Of China

Since Nanking became the capital of the republic of China,according to the capital plan modeled , the national government has implemented a series of planned municipal construction in the Golden Decade. For the protection of urban construction and urban security, the construction of the fire control in Nanking has also been highly valued, and the constantly upgraded innovation of fire technology will undoubtedly become the focus of the highlights of fire construction.The purpose of the research on the period of the Republic of China (1927-1937)about Nanking fire construction and fire technology is to achieve the following three points, one is to rely on the geographical advantages, according to abundant and detailed historical literature, which shows the time and distribution of Nanking fire disaster and the condition of the fire disaster, which reveals the cause of the fire disaster in Nanking ; second, in order to have a better understanding of the system of prevention, detection, and the important value of the fire intervention, we have analyzed the characteristics of the Nanking fire operation technique, explored and protected the remains; third, the experience of the Nanking fire construction during the Republic of China is combed and the impact of fire technology on fire enterprise is integrated, finally, a reference for contemporary fire construction is expected to provide.The paper is divided into five parts. In the first part, by analyzing the temporal and spatial distribution of fire in Nanking during the period of the Republic of China,the basic characteristics and distribution of fire and space are analyzed, and visual restoration is carried out. Based on the detailed investigation of the fire water conservancy and fire detection in Nanking during the Republic of China are discussed in detail. The second, third and fourth parts have discussed the significance of the pre-fire water conservancy and the fire water source to prevent the fire, and the anti-detection and fire alarm communication, the history of the evolution and its working principle are analyzed. Besides, general fire equipment of Nanking during the Republic of China like gas pump,fire truck introduction and modification,and the working principle has also been described. The fifth part discusses the fire prevention and control system of Nanking in the Republic of China. The organization,fund, training and action of the fire brigade and the civil fire-fighting in Nanking are focused,and the interactive relationship between the government and the fire is analyzed. The conclusion part of the thesis has summarized and evaluated fire protection construction and fire-fighting technology of Nanking during the period of the Republic of China, and illustrated the analysis about the multiple effects of fire construction on urban construction and protection in addition to the continuity of history in other cities.From the evolution of fire construction and fire technology in Nanking during the Republic of China, it can be seen that Nanking's stable construction relied on the protection of Fire Enterprise. As a capital of a province, Nanking's specific environmental factors determined its level of fire construction which was slightly inferior to Shanghai in absorbing the technology from concession, but significantly better than other inland cities. Through the study of fire technology in the Republic of China, we can clearly find out the impact of fire-fighting technology on modern fire control. Fire is not only a national project,but also livelihood projects.In order to maintain stable development, promote social harmony and to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream, an important attention to the development of fire protection and fire control technology should be attached.
