Research On Gramsci’s Civil Society Theory

Based on Marx’s philosophy of totality,Gramsci takes civil society into the category of superstructure and emphasizes the importance of the ideology of modern national leadership.He puts forward the viewpoint of the intellectuals,especially pays more attention to the important role of intellectuals in modern countries.Gramsci transcend national and social analysis of the traditional "dichotomy" paradigm,and proposed the “national = political society + civil society” mode of innovation theory,and tried to use the theory of “leadership” make a dialectical analysis of state and society.Gramsci believed that “cultural hegemony” is a dynamic process of the production and reproduction;therefore,the proletariat must compete for cultural leadership before seizing power,and then power must be hold to strengthen cultural leadership.Gramsci’s proletarian cultural hegemony theory is not only a daily life,revolutionary political consciousness,but also a superstructure,political culture.In the construction of a socialist harmonious society and the realization of the Chinese dream journey,in-depth study of Gramsci’s civil society theory will help us understand the equal importance of culture and politics,and firmly grasp the cultural leadership and the right to speak,people-oriented,and build a service-oriented government,and deep administrative reform,and promote the formation and development of civil society in China,so as to absorb beneficial experience and lessons and practice path for the construction of civil society with Chinese characteristics.
