The increasing of Elderly population and rising of elderly service demand have brought a huge pension pressure to the society.The elderly service industry in China faces the new challenges.The key points to solve the aging problem are developing the elderly service industry and meeting the diversified demand of the elderly.The elderly service industry is an interaction of multiple industries and it is a comprehensive industry.Therefore,its elderly service resources are involved in varies and wide range.For accurately match them with the diversified elderly service demand,it is necessary to integrate the elderly service resources.The mode of Elderly Service Supply Chain(ESSC)has provided a new development direction for the integration of elderly service industry.This innovation service management mode can realize the centralized,coordinated management of the service,logistics,information and cash flows.And ESSC has been widely used in practice,such as,Taishan Yihe real estate projects and Beijing pension service information platform.In ESSC,the elderly service integrator(ESI)and the elderly service provider(ESP),as the upstream and downstream of elderly service supply respectively,has made up the principal-agent relationship.The principal and the agent,as different interest subjects,have different interest objectives.Therefore when making decisions according the information they had,they may reduce the overall benefits of the ESSC and reduce the elderly service quality.Therefore,choosing the high-ability ESP,motivating the ESP to raise their effort and ensuring the quality of elderly service are the main considerations of the EPI.This paper studies the incentive mechanism of the ESSC systematically,based on the single phase and multi-period phase of the game,by using the knowledge of management,game theory,principal-agent theory and mechanism design theory.Firstly,this paper elaborated the research background of ESSC,clarified the principal-agent relationship between the ESI and the ESP,and reviewed the related research,which will be the basement of establishing the incentive model.Secondly,based on the single phase of the game,this paper put forward the design of incentive mechanism under the information asymmetry,to solve the problems of choosing the high-ability ESP and improving the level of their efforts.Thirdly,this paper introduced the satisfaction as motivating factors and set up the double factors incentive mechanism to improve the quality of elderly service.Then,the single phase will be extended to multi-period phase.This paper built up the reputation incentive mechanism model,to solve the problem that how the EPI manage the ESP in a long-cooperation,and promote the sustainable development of the ESSC.Finally,summarized the full paper,and pointed out the further research direction.
