Research On The Education Correction Of Community Inmates Of Y District Of Guangzhou

Community correction is a punishment execution,both the penalty function and the education correction function.Education correction in the community have obvious characteristics of social governance.In practice,the community correction agencies focus on the implementation of the supervision and management provisions,through the development and improvement of a series of regulatory systems,technical means to prevent and reduce community prisoners to re-offenses,but ignored the community inmates' education correction,ignoring the core of community correction and objectives:to correct criminal psychology and behavior abuse.Mandatory regulatory measures can only be achieved during the supervision period to prevent and reduce re-offenses,can not correct their criminals and behavior fundamentally in the long-term.In order to achieve the fundamental criminal psychology and criminal behavior transformation,to achieve the function of correction of penal education,that a comprehensive system,scientific and standardized education system should be established.The questionnaire survey method and the comparative research method are used in this survey.Starting from the problems in the practice of educational correction of community inmates in Y District of Guangzhou City,investigated the demands of community inmates for education correction.At the same time,compared with the prison prisoners' education correction to find out the basic law of educational correction of community inmates.Through analyzing of the shortcomings and reasons of the community correction agencies in education correction practice,such as community service activities,education and learning activities,psychological correction activities.And referencing the reasonable method of prison personnel' education correction.On this basis,work out some detailed suggestions to improve the correction of community inmates' education,such as establish the legal status of community correction,improve the quality of practitioners,improve the mechanism for the volunteer,social workers and other social forces to take part in,adapt to the needs of community inmates' education correction.And put forward suggestions from many aspects of community service activities,education and learning activities,psychological correction activities,assessment and application of the results.All the above are just providing a decision reference for the education correction of community inmates.
