"Reciprocity" has been always a Chinese tradition,but behind the "human relations" under the pretext of bribery behavior is illegal.With the continuous increase of our country's anti-corruption and advocating honesty,the "alienation" of the "ceremony" culture is also getting more and more attention.At present,domestic and foreign scholars have studied the behavior of gifts from the perspective of gift type and culture,but these studies focused on normal human contact in the exchange of gifts,and not on the "alienation" about sending and receiving gifts there is a lack of inquiry about the inherent willingness to receive gifts in fact,gifts behavior intention is the internal driving force,directly triggered the gifts behavior.Therefore,this study attempts to explore the internal structure of gifts intention and its antecedents.In this study,a questionnaire survey and a case study method were used to study 253 civil servants who were sentenced for accepting bribes.The results are as follow:1.By induction and analysis of relevant literature,based on the theory of demand and motivation,psychological ownership and planned behavior,the civil servant 's willingness to receive gift including three dimensions: pleasure,possession and trust degree.2.Based on the three-dimensional theoretical conception of civil servant 's willingness to receive,combined with the essential connotation of each dimension,we established the civil servants receive intention scale.Through exploratory factor analysis,three factors were extracted,each factor had a higher factor load,the cumulative contribution rate was up to 67.104%.Further confirmatory factor analysis,the results found that three factor model better fit,which shows that the scale has good construct validity,but also to some extent confirms the internal structure of the civil servants by pleasure,gifts will share and care of three factors.Then the reliability of the scale was analyzed,and the internal consistency coefficient of the scale was 0.903,retest reliability of 0.87,which showed a high reliability.3.Using the self-made civil service reception willingness scale to analyze the performance of 102 subjects' willingness to receive.The results showed that about the gifts of time and situation,49% subjects love accepting gifts during the holidays and festivals in false;about relationship between giver and recipient,69.8% of the subjects were inclined to accept gifts from their relatives and friends;in accepting gifts,types,more inclined to express feelings of civil servants to accept contains,gift(37.3%)and accept cash,envelopes,various price ticket coupons and other gifts(31.4%),but no obvious preference in the recipient site.4.This paper chose the two important factors of the difficulty and the type of gift,and uses the situational experiment to carry on the empirical research to its effect.The results showed that: the main effect of the type of the gift was significant [ F(1,110)=8.320,P=0.005,=0.023],the main effect of the difficulty of the request was significant [F(1,110)=6.746,P=0.011,=0.013];the interaction of the two significant [F(1110)=3.534,P=0.063,=0.008].This indicates that the type of gift and the trust degree of difficulty will indeed for civil servants will have an impact on gifts,the trust degree is easy,tool type gift gifts will affect than transactional gifts;but in the trust degree of difficult,emotional tool type and transaction type gift gifts will do not show significant difference.When the type of gift for emotional instrument gift,the trust degree is easy in the context of willingness to trust degree gifts difficult situation;but in the present trading conditions,the two difference is not significant.The results of this study provide some theoretical reference and practical application for discussing the motivation and behavior of civil servants.However,due to the limitation of the object and the sample size,the results of this study have some limitations.Due to the factors,such as time,manpower and financial resources the factors influencing the selection of this study are also limited.Future research needs to further expand the research sample to enhance the ecological validity of the study.In addition,there are other factors that need to be further explored to enrich the contents of the study.
