Research On The Relationship Among Political Connection,Absorptive Capacity And Business Model Innovation

Along with the network technology and the progress of science and technology,big data,networking,Internet plus,platform model and other innovative ideas have appeared and use.Various economies have developed rapidly.Some enterprises have achieved success through business model innovation,the original business model of enterprises has been greatly impacted,and the importance of business model innovation has become increasingly prominent.Business model innovation is considered to be one of the core competencies of enterprises in the new era.In the era of information economy,many enterprises hope to create greater commercial value through business model innovation.Business model innovation requires a lot of resources.The resources owned by the government are valued because of its long-term and stable characteristics.Some enterprises hope to promote the business model innovation by constructing political connections in practice.In recent years,the research on business model innovation has become a hot topic.Scholars at home and abroad have studied the business model innovation,but the related research on the impact of political connection on business model innovation is still inadequate.This paper reviewed by domestic and international about political connections,absorptive capacity,business model innovation,the institutional environment of the relevant research results,based on the survey,aiming at the deficiencies of current study constructed a theoretical model about the relationship between these four variables,proposes 7 hypotheses.This paper explores how the political connection of an enterprise influences the business model innovation,and analyzes the function of absorptive capacity and institutional environment.In this paper,a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate 300 enterprises in ten cities and regions in Guangdong Province,and 235 valid questionnaires have been collected.On the basis of the research sample,the data characteristics of the sample are sorted out.The reliability and validity and regression analysis of SPSS 22 and its plug-in Process are used to verify the correctness of the model.The results showed that political connection has a significant positive impact on the business model innovation;political association has a significant positive effect on absorptive capacity;absorptive capacity has significant positive influence on business model innovation;absorptive capacity plays an intermediary role in the effect of political connection on business model innovation;institutional environment play a regulatory role in the political relationship the business model innovation in.This paper proposes the mechanism of political connection influence on business model innovation,and discusses the influence of the related factors and the specific role,provide a useful reference for the government and enterprises,but also provides a good reference for the research on business model innovation theory.
