Privacy aims to protecting people to live alone and stay freely.With the development of information technology,the innovation of personal privacy becomes wider and wider and personal information privacy becomes the most important part of personal privacy,which emphasizes people are in charge of their own information.The reason why we should protect privacy is that privacy can prevent others' disturbing,what's more important,privacy gives us the right to prevent the power of government,let us think as the way we like,own the right to make choices and keep not only free but also happy.The times of big data is coming,which gives so much challenges on privacy protection.Government and corporations collect,use,and handle so such personal information,which makes it easier for them to violate privacy.There are some new characteristics of the invasion of privacy in the times of bag data.We should focus on the developmental subjects and objects,more and more variety methods,and more and more serious results of the invasion of privacy in the times of big data.In times of big data,the innovation of privacy mostly refers to information privacy.This article compares two different models of legislation of information privacy protection in America and European Union,where personal information privacy is well protected.As for our country's model of legislation,we can draw lessons from the experience of European Union,which let government,corporations,and person obey the same principles.The personal information protection law to be made should make it clear that privacy is to be protected strictly.When conflict of rights comes,we must insist on proportion principle and find the equilibrium point.“Informed consent” must be adapted to make the detailed rules all the time.
