Research On The Rural Grassroots Democracy Construction In The New Priod

The construction of rural grassroots democracy refers to the political system and practice that villagers directly participate in various village affairs closely related to their own interests,mainly including democratic election,democratic decision-making,democratic management and democratic supervision.Rural grassroots democracy is the foundation of the construction of democratic politics in our country.China is a large agricultural country with a large rural population.It is of great significance to ensure the democratic rights of the majority of rural residents and promote the construction of new countryside by studying the construction of rural grassroots democracy.It summarizes through the related researches of the construction of rural grassroots democracy at home and abroad,looks back on the discussion of rural grassroots democracy made by the communist party of China in different periods,further points out the definition,contents and the gained achievements of rural grassroots democracy in the new period.Combined with the actual situation of rural areas in Qingzhou City in Shandong Province,the grassroots democratic work carried out at the local level and achieved the summary of the problems,these existing problems in the construction of rural grassroots democracy are: economic foundation is weak,legal system is not perfect,enforcement of laws and regulations is insufficient,farmers have poor political consciousness of democracy,overall running mechanism is not harmonious enough,etc.On the basis of reference to these contents,some suggestions have been put forward,as followed: accelerating the development of rural economy;strengthening the construction of legal system;improving the construction of democratic system;strengthening construction of ideology and culture;regulating the function extent of township government.A series of measures are adopted to continuously enhance the democratic consciousness of farmers,to make it internalized in the mind and externalized in action,and to consciously transform the democratic consciousness into daily habits,so that farmers can raise their status,meanwhile use their rights and interests to maintain their status,thus lay a solid foundation for the construction of political civilization.
