Self-ownership is one of the core concepts of right-wing liberalism.It emphasizes that the individual has the prior power of control over its body and ability,and against any other individual,organization or government's controlling power.In order to sort out the logical development of this concept,this paper will collect the issues of self-ownership from different western political thinkers with the investigation of the history of Political Thought.During the development of the concept of "self-ownership",there are several core issues that play an important role in different stages,and these issues also affect the discussion direction of the concept.For example,"the body ownership”,"primary rights","private property rights","boundary of state or government power","welfare state" and so on.Through the discussion of these issues,we can greatly expand our understanding of the concept of"self-ownership." The discussion of these major topics also constitutes the basic framework of this article.In the first chapter of this article,we will briefly introduce the significance of this topic,research progress and research ideas.The second chapter introduces the full ownership of the body,and disapproves the behavior of the individual who will hurt his body randomly.The third chapter shows several classical interpretations of the transition from "possession" to "private property right",and makes a certain evaluation of the private system.The fourth chapter tries to prove that the argue between the right-wing liberal supremacists and egalitarian tendencies on government authority have certain limitations,which also tries to find some new solutions to guarantee self-ownership and effective macro-economic regulation.Finally,this paper will show the realistic dilemma of the concept of self-ownership,and try to use the concept of "social sharing" to provide a new direction for China's handling of the relationship between freedom and equality.
