Rural Communication And Social Changes From The Spatial Perspective

For a long time,the rural issue has been an important topic in the study of humanities such as sociology,economics and politics and it has attracted the attention of all walks of life.Especially after the rural revitalization strategy was put forward on the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,seeking a solution to this problem has been of greater realistic significance.However,there has been no deep connection between communication and rural social development,especially the lack of complete panoramic observation and theoretical research.Based on the achievements of the interdisciplinary research on "space turning" in the Western academic circles in mid-20 th century,in recent years,the communication study circle has discovered the spatial turning of media evolution and proposed the "relationship" and "practice" perspectives of space research.Based on this starting point,Wangjiahe Village,Dahedian Township,Hui County,longnan City,Gansu Province was selected as the object of field investigation in this study to explore the space reconstruction,social changes and communication development in the village.This paper,divided into four chapters,mainly analyzed the spatial production,spatial planning,spatial transformation,spatial political environment and production practices and social relations contained therein in Wang Jiahe Village since the reform and opening up,and described the governance changes,infrastructure changes and value changes brought about by the social spatial transformation in the village,thereby providing a reference for opening up the context between spatial transformation and communication changes,finding various relations that affect the social spatial transformation and observing the overall landscape and operation mechanism of rural society from multiple dimensions.This article believes that today's rural areas,as a special space,not only are theresults of the collision between history and reality,city and country as well as pre-modernism and post-modernism,but also build a new relationship between people and people as well as between people and society as a medium.Therefore,new intermediary spaces shall be constructed in a more open and fluid network relying on spatial transformation and other acts beyond the boundaries of culture and jumping out of the boundary of space and time,such as intermediary landscape,intermediary culture and intermediary elites,to supplement various relationships in rural society,which should be conducive to improve the current rural issues and find the connection between "spatial regeneration and communication reproduction".
