The conflict between the systematism of writing course and its implementation difficulties has become an important issue demanding urgent solutions in writing course study.This study is based on the curriculum construction theory and points out that there should be a variety of course forms co-existing in writing curriculum system,among which the task-based writing course form has a typical value,more conducive to guiding students in writing and more emphasis on the function of learning writing.The task-based writing teaching considers the students' learning process as a complete process of a series of tasks.In the process of teaching writing,it would be more effective to achieve the aims of writing ability if learning tasks are completed through task-driving with the specific tasks of writing process and the training of the students writing ability combined together.This paper,a total of 4 chapters,applies the concept of “writing curriculum morphology” and aims at "building a task-based writing form for Chinese language course",mainly discussing “the theoretical frame”,“targeting” and “strategies”.The first chapter is an introductory part.It starts with the confusion confronted with in writing research under the background of new curriculum reform and explains the relationship between tasks and the development of writing ability,with emphasis on introducing the prototype of task-based writing course in China.The second chapter is an analysis of the concept for how to construct task-based writing course form.It mainly expounds the theories and targeting of task-based writing course,and analyzes the necessity of constructing the task-based writing course form.The third chapter is about how to set the course objectives in task-based writing,concerning three indispensable aspects: an analysis of student learning,social demands and writing techniques.The fourth chapter shows the ways of building the task-based writing course form,including its organizing principles,the building routes based on different core elements and how to develop writing tasks effectively.Centered on “Task” and based on “Context”,this thesis aims at developing writing ability,with an eye to the value of communicative functions of writing.The Task-based writing course is not to eliminate or exclude other writing curriculum paradigms,but to construct a relatively complete task-based writing curriculum morphology,which,on account of the effectiveness of writing ability development,makes use of integrated approach in teaching,integrating in tasks the useful elements conducive to developing writing ability from other writing curriculum paradigms.
