The strategic status of postgraduate education is increasingly significant, graduate schooling quality is an urgent need to strengthen. We will accelerate development of graduate education management system and promote the development of university governance is the principal direction of current doctoral education reform. Graduate students to participate in the university internal governance refers to the separation of ownership and management in university based on the graduate students to participate in school through different ways of common affairs decision-making, negotiation, discuss the structure or process, such as school development planning and teaching management, student management and daily affairs management decision-making, supervision, discussion or advice, such as. Graduate students to take part in the University internal governance are not just the students directly involved in school matters as policy makers decisions, it also contains the student in the school affairs democratic consultation, supervision, proposals, discussions, etc in the process of role. Students plays a different role in the process of participation in school management, students can be used as an information provider, reaction to the information to the school administrators in order to make the right decisions, can also be a decision effect and feedback, students' opinions or Suggestions directly affect school upper management decision, sometimes even school management decision-making participants.Doctoral students participate in university governance has extensive significance such as maintain students' interests, provide useful information for decision-making, improve students' democratic awareness, promote their growth and career development, cultivate qualified citizens, accelerate the process of university management and social democratization. The survey result shows that the cognition and attitude of students to take part in the management is quite insufficient, lack of sense of participation; graduate students are still stand outside the decision-making circle, lack of substantive participation; the participation is quite weak in feedback system and institutional assurance; graduate students to participate in the governance ability remains to be further improved.In order to promote the effective participation of postgraduate students in University governance, and to further improve the internal management system, here makes recommendations as following:cultivating graduate students to participate in the management consciousness, make the participation become a habit; attaches great importance to the graduate students to participate in, emphasizing the omni-directional, the whole process of participation; speed up the legal system and university statues construction, protect students'lawful participation rights; make improvement in participation management system, teaching management mechanism, student organization participation mechanism, appeal and supervision mechanism to smooth students participation channel; promote greater information publicity and transparency, and provide students effective information of the participation; to strengthen the construction of graduate thought practice, and improve the ability of participation.
