Full combination of information technology and course illustrates the importance of training and improving teachers' technological abilities, and the skill of applying information technology has become a fundamental part of teachers' professional capability. In an era of information technology, it is a vital task to promote the professional development of teachers. Among approaches of information-aided teaching, many teachers show interest in Micro-lecture for it is short and powerful and can assist them in solving teaching difficulties or problems.This paper focuses on exploring Micro-lecture's influence on teachers' professional development. To find out methods for teachers' professional development in this information age, from project based learning, this paper discusses the professional development of teachers in the process of designing and recording Micro-lecture project by approaches of participatory action research, test and observation. In the practice, teachers are to choose topics for their Micro-lectures independently as well as initiate their first teaching design and record of Micro-lecture;then they recreate Micro-lecture and conduct other activities on the basis of project group for reference and assessment from other colleagues.The research finds that after design and recording, TPACK is greatly improved compared with that prior to the project. And there are certain changes in teachers' teaching design of Micro-lecture, behavior in Micro-lecture teaching, display of Micro-lecture achievements and teachers' self-cognition. The paper reveals that Micro-lecture project can help teachers in professional development, including integrating TPACK, establishing philosophy of teaching and improving their teaching ability. The author hopes that this research can serve as a reference for theories of teachers' professional development based on Micro-lecture and researchers on relevant practice.
