Cultivation Of College Students’ Political Judgment Ability From The Perspective Of Cultural Diversity

Political judgment ability refers to the ability to distinguish right from wrong politically. It mainly indicates that when we are confronted with political storms and major issues of principle, we are able to tell the mainstream from countercurrent, truth from falsehood, goodness from evil. Political judgment ability is one of the basic standards to judge right and wrong in social production and daily life..If political consciousness is not strong, it often causes huge mistakes and flaws. Over nearly four decades of reform and opening-up process in China, various economic forms coexist and social class distinction is gradually refined. For people’s production, lifestyles and values are increasingly diverse, diversified economies and lifestyles inevitably lead to diverse ideas and cultural identity. In addition, with the deepening of our country’s international exchanges and the huge influx of foreign culture, people’s cultural environment is becoming more and more complex. For young college students, as the future builders and successors of the motherland, come from different family environment and different institutions in which they learn different professions, as well as they are also in such a diverse, open and inclusive socio-cultural environment, to cultivate their firm political position and good politics identification is directly related to the rise and fall of the country and the development of the nation. Moreover, young college students during the period of growth and maturity are confronted with so complicated cultures and social environment. Their relatively simple thought is very easy to be deceived by a variety of surface phenomena. Their thoughts and behaviors are most easily influenced by the external adverse factors. Therefore, their political sensitivity and political judgment ability have yet to be improved.This article starts with the definition and content of cultural diversity and political judgment ability. It sums up the characteristics of the diversity of Chinese culture and explores the causes of how to form Chinese cultural diversity in the present day. From the perspective of cultural diversity, it explores the importance and significance of cultivating students ’political ability to identify, and then analyzes both positive and negative impact of cultural diversity on the college students’ political discrimination, and has an in-depth analysis of the existing problems and reasons. This paper comes up with five principles that the college student should grasp in the cultivation of the political judgment ability against the above problems under the management field of cultural diversity, including the objective principle, people-oriented principle, prevention-oriented principle, the principle of keeping pace with the times and the principle of unity of knowledge and practice. Meanwhile, this paper proposes five solutions to optimization campus culture environment. First, they should promote social and cultural body to strengthen campus public opinion. Second, they should encourage the campus community activities to spread positive energy. Third, they should enhance history classes to respect heroes. Fourth, they should strengthen internet culture instruction to standardize the network using. Fifth, they should strengthen political education and innovate education management mode. What’s more, this article comes up with three specific methods to the problems. First, we should Strengthen theoretical study and improve our political accomplishment. Second, we should enhance political discipline, and improve strict self-discipline. Third, we should participate in social practice and strengthen self-improvement.
