In the contemporary developed industrial society, organization of the external environment changing, the university faces many challenges of globalization, competition, technological change and knowledge updating. As an important social education and research organization, USR is an inevitable requirement for the reform of the University. Today, the University offers the scale and quality of higher education service, the ethics of scientific research in universities, university knowledge innovation and knowledge transfer rate, University in the settlement of the community, social and natural environment, social responsibility, has become a central theme in the government and the public concern. Despite USR has to be into their daily work process, however, existing research not take USR as a management problem to study and related theoretical understanding is not clear and USR principle, contents, key processes are lacking of systematic research. In this context, it is very necessary and meaningful to study the problems of the large and the leading edge of these disputes, and to establish a management model of USR.From the perspective of stakeholders, using the literature research method, text analysis method and case analysis, this article discusses the connotation of USR and its principle, content system, management mode. The research shows that University should follow the eight principles of USR. For the content of USR, on the Perspective of Stakeholders, It can be constructed with the stakeholder model and the issues model. For the management of USR, on the Perspective of Stakeholders, it should construct management mode of USR based on stakeholder participation and key processes. Finally, on the basis of the management mode of USR, some suggestions are provided to promote USR. |
