The proposal of "Chinese dream" is the latest achievement of the CPC's theoretical innovation.It is a new proposition,concept and scope,with deep and rich connotation.It explains the major issues and development direction of future development for the Chinese society.Education is an important part within the scope of "Chinese dream".Today's education makes cacophony with the pace of social development either from ideas or system.In particular,the ideological and political education is pretty controversial."Chinese dream" defines the working direction of ideological education workers,and enriches the connotation of ideological and political work.Ideological and political education is essential at high school education stage,which is the key stage for cultivating a strong reserve force in realizing "Chinese dream".At this stage,ideological and political education activities has the common goal with the popularization and education of the "Chinese dream" concept,i.e.,their common goal is to construct forces up to socialism standards,achieve common individual all-round development,and achieve the highest value.The two are fundamentally highly consistent.For high school students' ideological and political education of,the proposal,"Chinese dream” is of epoch-making significance in learning.The new concepts it proposes shall be promoted in the practical ideological and political education so as to make high school students' theoretical knowledge learning and social practice complementary to each other."Chinese dream" can guide and promote the current political and ideological reform.At the same time,the connotation of "Chinese dream" can be further enriched in the guidance of high school ideological and political reform.The two supplement each other and inject fresh vitality for China's modernization development.Based on detailed description on the scientific connotation and basic characteristics of "Chinese dream",this paper presents analysis and research on the theoretical basis and content system of "Chinese dream" in the context of high schools.Existing problems of China's high school ideological and political education at present were discussed,including: fuzzy value orientation,extreme individualism,lack of life ideal,etc.In this paper,an in-depth study was carried out on the spirit connotation of the "Chinese dream".Combined with the strategy of high school students' ideological and political education,it is aimed to fill in the blanks in the ideal and belief education of high school political teaching materials,and optimize the ideas of ideal and belief education.The understanding on the connotation of "Chinese dream" is a crucial step in achieving the combination of "Chinese dream" and high school ideological and political education.Find connections between the two,carry out high school ideological and political teaching and "Chinese dream" education at the same time,let high school ideological and political class full of fun,carry out cultural activities themed with "Chinese dream,let campus culture with more characteristics of the times of "Chinese dream",so that students can take the initiative in learning.High schools shall adhere to the basic principles of correct ideological guidance,focus on network culture construction and long-term unremitting development,and let high school ideological and political education meet new targets conforming to the new era of development under the guidance of "Chinese dream".
