The Influence Of Contemporary Social Thoughts On College Students’ Thinking And Behavior

Since the policy of China’s reform and opening up, China’s economy and society has developed very quickly, with various values and ideology interwoven. Now, our country is building a well-off society in an all-round way and realizing the great "China dream", and the spread of ideological trend is more extensive, impacting on people’s ideology and mainstream ideology in our country, eroding the soul of the college students’ group.College students are a group of high degree of knowledge. They are in the phase of learning and constantly improving themselves, having the characteristics of being active and easy to accept new things. But the college students’ values on life is not mature enough, lacking judgment, not deep to understand some social ideological trend, vulnerable to the adverse impact of it. Also, the information age brings more convenient communication and exchange platform. College students use the tools of network frequently, their own wrong ideas are loaded on the information platform,making more students spread their ideas, affecting the college students’ political belief of Marxism. Therefore, in order to consolidate the main position of socialist ideology, and enhance the recognition of the college students’ mainstream ideology of Marxism, it has become the important content of the current ideological and political education to explore the way to lead college students to know the path of the contemporary social trend.This paper will be divided into four parts :The first part are the research background, significance, research status at home and abroad, and briefly states the research idea, method, emphasis and innovation points.The second part is an overview of contemporary social ideological trend, and illustrates its connotation and main characteristics, and define the meaning of it in different periods, different stages. Meanwhile, it lists some social ideological trend,and introduces their claims.The third part is about the negative impact of contemporary social trend of ideological behavior. It analyzes the influence of the contemporary social ideological trend on college students, which affects the ideology of college students and restricts the development of China’s economy and society, with the education of ideological and political theory in colleges and universities also facing challenges.The fourth part is about the way of students’ correct understanding of the contemporary social ideological trend. When college students form values, their treatment lacks a basic understanding of the ideological trend of contemporary society 。 We must strengthen the socialist core values education, and grasp thecondition of college students’ thought and behavior, to make the mainstream ideology of Marxism into the value of college students.
