The development of compulsory education in pastoral areas is an important guarantee for the economic and social development in ethnic areas and narrow the gap between urban and rural areas.It is also the key of Developing Compulsory Education in our country.Over the past few years,the party and government compulsory education has promulgated a series of policies and measures,which has effectively promoted the development of compulsory education in the pastoral areas.According to the decision of the Central Committee,by the end of 2007,compulsory compulsory education was basically popularized in the pastoral areas of China,and it had been developed with leaps and bounds.However,due to historical,geographical and economic development standards,compulsory education in the pastoral areas is still a big gap compared with the developed areas.This paper investigated the teaching situation of biology in Mongolian junior high school in Xilingool pastoral area of Inner Mongolia.The investigation object is Xilingool Xilinhaote Mongolian middle school and Erenhot City,Abagaqi,banner,Sunit Zoy,West ujumqin,Eastwuzhumuqin,Zhengxiangbaiqi,Xianghuangqi,zhenglanqi.28 teachers from Mongolian middle school,middle school grade and Mongolian school in 12 towns were investigated,such as Taipusiqi,and Wulagai administrative district,were investigated.The survey shows that among the 28 teachers surveyed,female teachers account for 67.9% of the total,2 / 3 for young and middle-aged teachers,and 7 for teachers who do not have professional titles,accounting for 25%.With master's degree and bachelor's degree,teachers account for 57.1%,while the rest of them have junior college and secondary technical school teachers.Of the 28 Mongolian teachers surveyed,21 were biology majors,accounting for 75%,and the remaining 7 were non biological majors.39.3% of teachers have thought of leaving their teachers' positions during their tenure.It shows that the professional quality of teachers is low and not stable,which is the key factor affecting the teaching quality of biology and Mongolian teaching in junior middle schools in Xilingool pastoral areas.According to the survey of the importance of biology,60.7% of teachers think highly of it,and 39.3% of them don't think much of it.Survey on current situation of the experimental teaching,most schools have only 1 biological laboratories,17.9% laboratories lack of full-time laboratory assistant,lab assistant 60.7% by teachers part-time,full-time technicians only 21.4% laboratories.Laboratory instruments and equipment are generally not perfect,accounting for 10.7% of the deviation,imperfect accounted for 46.4%.Only 7.2% of the required experimental courses were completed in the textbooks,and 46.4% of the experimental subjects were completed.In order to understand the Mongolian pastoral area of junior high school students' cognitive degree of biology,the Xilingool Abagaqi,and Xilinhaote City,Wastsunite District,Mongolian Middle School 580 junior high school students conducted a questionnaire survey.The survey results show that most of the students was very interested in biology class in 42.2% of the students are very interested in biology class,53.25% of the students is not very active,not interested in biology class 4.3% of the students said.80.5% of the students took 1 to 2 hours of their spare time to strengthen the review of biology,58.5% of the students in biological experiment class showed a keen interest in the 93.2% students participated in the experiment class,80.4% students taking notes in class,92.5% students completed the biology project.The findings show that the biology teaching in junior middle school in Xilingool pastoral area has entered a healthy track of development,with some restrictive factors,such as weak teaching team and inadequate infrastructure construction.Therefore,the author believes that strengthening the teaching staff,the investment in basic education,and continuing to strengthen the infrastructure construction are still important aspects to develop compulsory education for Mongolian students in pastoral areas and narrow the gap between urban and rural areas.
