Critical pedagogy originated in the late 1960s, and was introduced into China in 1986 for the first time, then gradually spread widely.This paper addresses the time sequence of critical pedagogy in China.Holding a comprehensive review and reflection to the propagation of critical pedagogy in China,summarizing the characteristics and trends of the propagation of critical pedagogy in China,and the influence and enlightenment of it.Specific content mainly includes the following six aspects:First,introduce critical pedagogy and its basic, mainly including: classical marxism, new western marxism and the Frankfurt school's critical theory.The main ideas of critical pedagogy are:communication theory, liberation theory, criticism to ideology, reproduction theory, and resist theory.Second, the background and the start point of the propagation of critical pedagogy in China.Analyzed the reasons why the propagation of critical pedagogy in China started so late, and the reasons why it finally begin.Through the research, we make the start point of the propagation of critical pedagogy in China is 1986. Third, the progress of Critical Pedagogy's Propagation in China, analyzed the progress of Critical Pedagogy's Propagation in China, divided it into three parts, described the situation, main body, main content, access, and the objects of each part.Fourth, The features and trends of critical pedagogy's propagation in China, analyzed the feature of critical pedagogy's propagation in China,through research, and put forward its trends.Five, the influences of the propagation of critical pedagogy in China, it enriched the research content of Chinese pedagogy, aroused the attention to the deeper problems of Chinese education, Afforded theoretical basic to Chinese education reform, cultivated the critic thoughts of Chinese educationresearchers.Six, the inspirations from propagation of critical pedagogy in China, we should propagate on the basis of sorting out the western education background, on the basis of the respect of Chinese education, and the basis of the research of education practice.
