The 2015 China Open Men's Singles Top Eight Technical And Tactical Analysis

The world tennis open is one of the most intensive sport events,only having two-month break in whole year.Events include international tennis tournament hosts of International Men's Professional Tennis Association(ATP),International Women's Tennis Association(WTA)and International Tennis Federation(ITF).China Open is one of the world's top events,following Australian Open,Wimbledon Champions,French Open and U.S.Open.It has the three major international tennis tournament hosts,which has the highest set in Asia,the highest level and most players.In this paper,the 2015 China Open men's singles top eight players were selected as research object.Literature review,video observation and statistical analysis were adopted to analysis game tactics indexes:serve statistical analysis(serve rate,ACE,double fault and balls distribution);receiving technical statistical analysis;basic competitive unit of each bounce the ball and end ball frequency;Score-loss technical characteristics(the winner and unforced errors analysis,general features and the net technology characteristics).We analysis the commonness and individuality and pick out key factors affecting the winning of match,thus putting forward reasonable suggestions for future training and development trend in elite men's tennis technique.Results as follows:(1)As to serving aspect,elite athletes would prefer to choose fast in speed(translational and rotational velocity),steep in angle and sharp in falling attract at the first round;At the second round,athletes serve wide-angle shot in the case of keeping same velocity;As to serving angles,the first round selected orders are of outside-inside-middle;the second round selected orders are of inside-outside-middle,while the middle proportion is higher in second serve;As to serving stability,Most excellent athletes have a similar features,that is,first round success rate is lower than the win rate,and second round stability higher than win rate.Elite athletes find a balance between stability and win rate;(2)As to the receiving side,apparent attack consciousness raised,from passive shot gradually incline to active shot;(3)The winning ball and unforced errors is one of the key factors affecting a win.For our research object,four of them had lower unforced errors compared to winning ball,while the other four had the opposite results.Under a controllable range,athletes should reinforce attack,and reduce unforced errors.(4)As to technical features,elite athletes also have similarity,successively the forehand,backhand,serving,receiving and net.Scoring technique mainly focused on the backhand and forehand,serving,net and receiving.Loss technique mainly focused on the forehand,backhand,receiving,net and serving.Score-loss proportion have inseparable link with"specialty technology" and playing style;(5)Elite athletes have a strong ability to create the net opportunity and efficient net scoring ability;(6)Development trend of world elite tennis players are summarized.The offense and defense slowly move towards balance;The fewer unforced errors happen,the more likely to win;Athletes changes from net rusher or base-lining type to comprehensive development,by raising their own weakness and reinforcing strengths,which not only can foster strengths but also circumvent weaknesses.Comprehensive technology makes it possible to adjust tactics according to the characteristics of the opponent's.The comprehensive athletes are Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray,Rafael Nadal,Roger Federer,Stan Wawrinka,etc.
