| Space is a significant characteristic of geography. It makes various geography ideological activities mostly carried out under various forms of space. In order to improve geography educating and learning, cultivating high school student’s ability of geography space analysis is particularly important. This thesis mainly discusses the cultivation of geographical spatial analysis ability of high school students. This paper makes statement of GIS, Geospatial and spatial analysis. At the same time, this thesis discusses research statues from both board and home of the application of GIS in high school student’s geographical space analysis. Secondly, this thesis provides a lot of theoretical foundation for the feasibility of GIS in cultivating high school student’s geographic space analysis ability. On the basis of a large amount of theoretical foundation, this paper divides geographical spatial analysis ability into geospatial structure analysis ability, geospatial contrast analysis ability and geospatial integrated analysis abilities. Besides that, it’s also analyses that GIS is necessary and fusible in high school student’s geographical spatial analysis education and elaborated the strategies that how to utilize GIS to cultivate high school student’s geographical spatial analysis ability. Finally, the validity of utilizing GIS to developing high school student’s geospatial thinking ability was verified by questionnaire. |
