The key for Mathematics learning lies on understanding.The essence of mathematics teaching is to promote students' understanding the essence of Mathematics(1).At present,conceptual understanding is an important goal of mathematics education.To promote junior high school student to understand the concept of mathematics is to understand what is the mathematical concept understanding and the dimensions and levels of understanding as well as clearly figure out the current situation of students' conceptual understanding of the mathematics and the causes of deviations,so as to take targeted teaching strategy to promote junior high school students to understand mathematical concepts,on the basis of understanding students.This paper mainly studies three problems:(1)What level of mathematics conceptual understanding the students have already reached currently;(2)The reasons for reaching such level of mathematics conceptual understanding;(3)What is the effective teaching strategy and the measure to improve the students' understanding of mathematical concepts?In this paper,classroom records,interviews,tests,questionnaires,experiments and other methods are mainly used.The first part is the analysis of the impact of teachers' mathematical understanding of the concept on the students',mainly from the classroom records and interviews,from the perspective of teachers.From the point of view of students,this paper mainly uses the method of test and questionnaire to analyze the current situation of junior high school students' understanding of mathematics.Then,it discusses the reason why the junior middle school students with learning difficulties can improve their conceptual understanding.Finally,the results of the students test use SPSS software for statistical analysis.Conclusions of this study:(1)Teachers' conceptual understanding of mathematics determines the effect of classroom teaching,and then affects students' conceptual understanding of knowledge;(2)The relationship between the students' mathematics conceptual understanding and the students' mathematics achievement is interdependent;(3)The implementation of targeted teaching strategies and measures can improve the level of understanding of mathematics.Based on the research,the following suggestions are put forward.In the implementation of teaching strategies,from the perspective of teachers' teaching,teachers should pay attention to the following five aspects: Insist on the creation of the problem situation to stimulate students' interest in learning,so that students could have the intention to understand.Adhere to fully understanding the students.Adhere to the essence of mathematics teaching.Adhere to streamline the application.Insist on reflection.From students' point of view on learning,we should pay attention to the cultivation of students' habit of reflection and pay attention to the mutual communication of mathematics learning.
