With the development of new curriculum reform,inquiry learning as a new way of learning,gradually attracted the attention of school teachers,particularly in the current period of rapid development of information technology,more and more teachers bring technology into the classroom to support the students' inquiry learning.Based on the investigation and analysis of domestic and foreign research status,this study analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of the implementation of mathematics inquiry learning in compulsory education stage.From the results of the analysis,we found that the “standard” and the mathematics teaching material have permeated the inquiry learning theory.And studies have proved that information technology tools play an important role for students' inquiry learning.On the base of the analyses,from the function of information technology in inquiry learning activities,this paper puts forward the concept of technological pedagogical mathematics tools,and discusses the development of this tool in accordance with design principles.In order to test the function and influence of such tools in teaching,the research takes the “from different directions to see” as a case and carry out two experiments.“From different directions to see” is the Grade six content of nine-year compulsory education curriculum standard.It lays the foundation for carrying on experiment because of it's a basis for the students to understand and feel the space and shape parts,less affected by the students' previous knowledge and experience and the selected subjects are taught by the same teacher.To some extent,it reduces the effects of unrelated variables.This paper mainly uses the methods of interview,experiment and questionnaire.Firstly,the author interviewed some mathematics teachers in the X and S middle school of Zhifu,in order to understand the impact of technological pedagogical mathematics tools for students' inquiry learning activity.Then,according to the experimental hypothesis and the experimental design,the experiment was carried out with the help of a mathematics teacher in X middle school.Finally,the author compiled questionnaire according to the TAM model and the facts of the situation of the tools used.And used the SPSS19.0 statistical analysis software to statistical analysis the questionnaire,in order to understand the real feeling of the students when they using the tools for inquiring activity.At the same time,the author also used the questionnaire which compiled by the junior high school mathematics teacher to test the contents that students learned.In order to find if it has differences of students' academic performance under the different tools support learning styles.Through the analysis of the collected data,it is found that the technological pedagogical mathematics tools in a short period of time have no significant effect on students' academic performance.But we can also get the following conclusions through this research: it is helpful to improve the students' interest in learning mathematics by using the technological pedagogical mathematics tools to carry out inquiry learning.And it can also foster students' operating ability,scientific approach to learning and divergent thinking,strengthen students' satisfaction with inquiry learning.
