Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has put forward the socialist core values of "prosperity,democracy,civilization,harmony,freedom,equality,justice,rule of law,patriotism,dedication,integrity and friendliness",the socialist core values have been fostered and practiced a hot topic,and attracted more and more attention by the community.December 23,2013,the Central Office issued that?The views of the cultivation and implementation of the socialist core values?,stressed the need to cultivate socialist core values into the process of national education,advocate that the whole society should recognize and practice socialist core values.Youths are strong and self-reliant,so is the nation.As a young university student,only to establish a correct world outlook,outlook on life,values,put their ideals and beliefs,work enthusiasm,innovation and vitality into the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,to assume that the country gives them the historical mission about the realization of the great Chinese nation Revival.However,a reality that can not be ignored is that the university students 'values are becoming more and more diversified,especially in the choice and judgment of values,such as utilitarianism and anti-traditional tendencies.The growth of university students' stability and development are great challenges.Therefore,in order to meet these challenges,it is very important to grasp the recognition and practice of the socialist core values of university students,and to guide the students to establish the socialist core values and to explore some more meaningful and targeted trainings and practice.This article follows from theories to practice,from problems to methods.First of all,it defines the related concepts of the socialist core values,and puts forward the necessity of practicing the socialist core values in the light of the grim situation of diversified development of the domestic economy and culture and the challenge of foreign western values,and provides the theoretical basis for the demonstration.Secondly,it summarizes the main problems to be solved in the process of cultivating and practicing the socialist core values of university students,and provides the basic direction for cultivating and practicing countermeasures.Thirdly,it conducts a questionnaire survey on the practice and cultivation of the socialist core values of university students in Liaoning Province,analyzes the relevant data and summarizes the typical problems.Finally,according to the central requirements,combined with the existence of typical problems,respectively,from the university education,social environment,university students themselves and other point of views,put forward targeted countermeasures,including: strengthening and improving ideological and political education,give full play to ideological and political theory classroom as main channel role;strengthen the campus human environment construction,with the campus culture and socialism core values;pay attention to university students practice education,enhance the ability of university students to practice the socialist core values.
