The development of print awareness and emergent literacy played a promoting role in the field of children's language,Kindergarten guidelines related requirements are put forward in the further reflected the importance of reading in language education,thus,the educators is becoming more and more attention to the development of emergent literacy,and print awareness is the basis for the development of children's reading ingredients(Lomax&McGee,1987;Whitehurst,1998;Weiss,1988),as a result,it is worth of study the relationship between children's print awareness and emergent literacy to development for the educator.This paper,taking the top class in a private kindergarten Hexi district of Tianjin as the research object,using the documentary method,measurement survey method as the main research methods,to understand children's print awareness development level of consciousness,as well as its relationship with the chi ldren's emergent literacy,and the research results are objective,theory analysis,and combined with the reality of young children emergent literacy put forward the corresponding suggestions.The study first introduces selected topic background and the research direction of this article.Mainly adopts literature method,this paper introduces children's early print awareness development and research status of print awareness,the relations of children's print awareness and emergent literacy,and as a theoretical basis.Then mainly adopts survey method for children's print awareness development level and the relationship between emergent literacy,and by using the statistical software SPSS19.0 analyze statistical sampling test results,combined with statistical data to a private kindergarten in Tianjin Hexi district of the top class children's print awareness development level and the relationship between emergent literacy and description and analysis,and on the basis of discussing children's the acquisition of words,the concept of words,words of discrimination affect children's emergent literacy.The results show that:(1)children's the acquisition of words,the concept of words,words of discrimination all significant positive correlation with emergent literacy.In addition,children's print awareness level and emergent literacy are no significant gender differences.(2)children's print awareness development level can predict emergent literacy test scores,which word concept level can predict reading test scores more.The author will research results and the existing of the top class children's print awareness and its related research results of emergent literacy,and according to the research results,respectively from the concept of children's the acquisition of words,the concept of words,words of discrimination three aspects put forward the suggestions and countermeasures to improve children's emergent literacy.The researcher according to the results of the study concluded that:the top class children's print awareness level is closely associated with emergent literacy;the acquisition of words,the concept of words,words of discrimination was significantly positively related to identify with their emergent literacy.With the deepening of the research,put forward to solve the problem.
