Workplace loneliness,as a common negative emotion in the workplace,can have a negative impact on individual employees and organizations.In the present China,the drastic changes in society and the rapid economic development have brought many problems to the workplace.These problems will lead to the spread of loneliness in the workplace to varying degrees.Therefore,it is necessary to study the loneliness of our employees.At present,the research on loneliness in the workplace is still in the preliminary research stage.Although the research shows that the loneliness of workplace has a direct impact on job performance,the mechanism of action between the two is still to be further studied.In this study,373 employees were used as the research object,using the "Workplace Loneliness Scale","Organizational Commitment Scale" and "Work Performance Scale",through independent sample T test,variance analysis,regression analysis,factor analysis and other statistics.This paper makes an empirical study on the relationship between loneliness,organizational commitment and job performance of employees’ workplace,and draws the following conclusions:(1)Staff workplace loneliness level is low,indicating less trouble by the workplace loneliness.Staff workplace loneliness in the academic qualifications there are significant differences,specialist qualifications of the following staff workplace loneliness score higher.(2)The organization’s commitment to employees in the middle level.The organization’s commitment to employees has a significant difference in age and marital status.The 36-45-year-old employee has the highest level of commitment,and the married employee has a higher organizational commitment.(3)Employee performance scores are at a high level.There are significant differences in the performance of the staff in the marital status and the current service age.The performance level of the married employees is higher than that of the unmarried employees.The employees of the three age groups are working for 3-5 years,5-10 years and 10 years.Performance scores were significantly higher than the <1 year,1-2 years of the two workers in the age group.(4)Workplace loneliness,organizational commitment and job performance between the two significant correlations.There was a significant negative correlation between job loneliness and job performance.There was a significant negative correlation between workplace loneliness and organizational commitment,and organizational commitment was significantly positively correlated with job performance.(5)Workplace loneliness and organizational commitment to effectively predict job performance.The loneliness and interpersonal loneliness of workplace loneliness have a significant effect on job performance.Emotional commitments and ongoing commitment in organizational commitment have a significant impact on job performance.(6)Organizational commitment in the workplace loneliness and job performance play a part of the role of intermediary.
