In the era of knowledge economy,the development of science and technology,fine division of the society,the society on talent cultivation mode and cultivation standard put forward new requirements,can not meet the social demand for advanced composite and professional talents to cultivate academic researchers for the purpose of the single way of education.Social development has increased demand for highly qualified professionals,resulting in professional degrees.The United States takes the lead in carrying out professional degree graduate education.American professional degree graduate education since its establishment,with the social demand as the benchmark,the graduate education for professional degree all other countries in the United States as an example,either in the curriculum or culture,are deeply influenced by American graduate education.Therefore,it is of special significance to study the graduate education of American professional degree.Not only can we explore the genes of professional degree education at the source,but also seek the inherent law of professional graduate education from the development of professional education.Study on early China postgraduate training is mainly academic,the professional degree graduate education has got certain development,but due to the lack of a correct understanding of the development of professional degree,professional degree is still a problem.There are some problems in the training of professional degree graduate students in China,such as training objectives,professional settings,curriculum setting,training methods,educational scale and educational structure,etc.,which can not meet the needs of social development.This is incompatible with the trend that education must adapt to the social economy.How to meet the needs of all walks of life,to maintain the healthy development of professional degree graduatestudents,and to change the status of China's professional degree graduate education is worthy of our thinking.At present,the deepening of knowledge economy and the progress of China's economy and society provide a historic opportunity and profound social impetus for the improvement of professional degree graduate students.Compared with the United States,China's professional degree graduate education needs to continue to develop.Therefore,China's professional degree graduate education needs to absorb the experience of American professional degree graduate education,and constantly improve the education model to meet the needs of the community for high-level professionals.Based on the study of American professional degree graduate education as the research object,using literature research method and case study method,study on the relationship between education and social needs of the professional degree in the United States are discussed,summed up the historical development,training mode,scale and structure of three main elements,to elaborate the interactive relationship between the three factors and the social demand the.At last,we should absorb some of the merits of American professional degree graduate education,and provide some ideas and methods for the development of professional degree graduate education in China to better meet the social needs.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part describes the research background and significance,domestic and international research status,research methods,research core concepts and main contents of the graduate education of professional degree in the United states.The second part expounds the combination of the development of American professional degree graduate education and social needs.The third part is the analysis of the connection between the training mode of American professional degree graduate students and social needs.Among them,the training mode involves five factors: training goal,professional setting,curriculumconstruction,training way and cooperative training.The performance of the five factors in meeting the social needs is analyzed respectively.The fourth part analyzes the educational structure,scale of education and social needs of the graduate students in American professional degree.In the aspect of educational structure,it expounds the compatibility with social needs from two aspects: hierarchy and discipline.Through the analysis of the professional degree education scale data analysis,a significant turning point in the process of the development of education scale and social demand changes significantly,summed up the professional degree graduate education and social demand interaction.The fifth part is the Enlightenment of American professional degree graduate education to meet the social needs education mode,and to the graduate education of professional degree in China.
