In the new century,it is necessary to improve the ability of middle school students in reading historical materials and having access to historical information through a variety of ways.As an important basis for recording history,historical data is the main way to obtain the historical information in the history study of middle school students.Historical materials teaching can highlight the characteristic value of historical subject,enhance students’ historic core quality,improve the reform of college entrance examination and evaluation and deepen the curriculum reform of history education,which is accepted by the frontier history teachers and the researchers.Historical materials teaching aims to develop students’ ability in analyzing historical materials and data,and the question of historical materials’ analysis is one of the important question styles in the history of college entrance examination questions.Looking through nearly ten years’ history of college entrance examination in LiaoNing province,we found that not only has the proportion of materials analysis increased year by year,but also the difficulty of the question has increased.The goal of innovation should be paid more attention in evaluating students’ ability.The combination of normative,scientific and subject also should be emphasized,and especially the core values of society moral education.We proposed some teaching suggestions,such as to enhance the ability of teachers and students of discriminating,to expand the depth and breadth of the historical selection and analysis,to inspire the emotional experience of teachers and students in historical inquiry and to enrich the content and form of historical teaching.In the end,we firstly studied the historical teaching mode in the college entrance examination,tried to cultivate the students’ ability of historical data collection,screening and analysis,made the students to establish the independent inquiry consciousness.Then we encouraged the students to be good at finding and solving the problems by means of historical data in daily history learning.Thirdly we tried to promote the all-round development of students,to reproduce the original appearance of history as far as we can by means of historical materials and to strengthen the students’ national history identity.At the same time,we hope that the evaluation methods of college entrance examination can be improved and the reform of the curriculum can be further deepened through this study.
